• Conduct in-depth financial, valuation, and strategic analysis of small- to mid-cap Japanese listed companies. • Build and maintain robust financial models to assess investment opportunities and forecast potential outcomes. • Prepare comprehensive investment reports and recommendations for senior investment staff. • Collaborate with the team to execute investment strategies and manage engagement and any needed escalation processes. • Communicate directly with public company boards of directors to advocate for governance and operational improvements. • Support initiatives to appoint or recommend independent directors when appropriate.
