Hiroki Kato

Co-Founder/Chief Executive Officer

A strategist turned entrepreneur, with a mission to make expert knowledge more accessible across borders.
Kato began his career at Sumitomo Corporation,where he specialized in energy investment and finance, managing shale gas assets in the U.S, then advised global companies on growth and M&A at YCP Solidiance.
After seeing how hard it was for businesses to access reliable, local expertise, he founded Arches in 2019 - a platform to connect decision-makers with real insight from people on the ground. Kato currently oversees Arches’ expansion in Asia, the EU, and LATAM, while directing the company’s global innovation strategy.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo and was selected as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.

Shota Kambara

Shota brings sharp strategic thinking and the discipline of execution to everything he leads. He doesn’t just plan, he builds.

Shota began his career at Accenture Strategy, where he advised government agencies and multinational firms on growth, new business planning, and international expansion. His work spanned both directions: helping Japanese companies go global and guiding global companies into Japan.
He later joined Terradrone, a drone technology startup, where he drove company-wide strategy and led the launch of its Australian office, gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced, cross-border operations. He also led M&A efforts, managing sourcing, due diligence, and deal execution with overseas partners.
In 2019, he co-founded Arches to bridge expert knowledge gaps in fast-moving markets. Shota holds a degree in Economics from Waseda University.
