Management Team

Hiroki Kato

Co-Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Kato founded Arches Corporation in 2019. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at YCP Solidiance and accumulated experience in various corporate advisory services, including formulating growth strategy, developing new business and PMI. He relocated to Vietnam for new office establishment and investment in Vietnamese businesses. Kato built his early career at Sumitomo Corporation, where he specialized in energy investment and finance, and was involved in the supervising and marketing of shale gas upstream assets in US. Kato was selected as one of the Global Shapers of Ho Chi Minh Hub at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting at Davos. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo.

Shota Kambara

Co-Founder/Chief Operating Officer

Starting his career as a strategy consultant at Accenture Strategy, Shota engaged in strategy formulation, new business planning, and business reform for government agencies as well as domestic and international enterprises. His experience include handling overseas expansion strategies for Japanese companies as well as Japan entry strategies for foreign companies. He then moved on to Terradrone, a start-up for Drone related services, and oversaw company-wide strategies, business launches, and notably of opening the Australian office. As part of new business development, he has committed to M&As and executed sourcing, DD, and investment contracts with overseas companies. In 2019, he co-founded Arches Corporation. Shota holds a BA in Economics from Waseda University, School of Political Science and Economics.
