Arches’ company history started with a simple belief: that better decisions come from real expertise, delivered with speed, care, and trust.
What followed over the next six years was steady, intentional growth, built market by market and team by team, rather than overnight success.
Today, Arches is a global expert network with close to 250 employees worldwide (from fresh grads to senior and manager-level members) and a growing presence in the Americas through our Bogotá hub. This is how we got here and why we’re excited about what comes next.
Arches’ Company History: Laying The Foundations (2019-2020)
In the early days, Arches chose focus over flash. Instead of expanding everywhere at once, the team concentrated on building strong foundations in a few key markets.
In 2019, Arches established its first offices in Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam. With a small founding team and a $40K seed round, the priority was learning how to deliver consistently, build trust with clients, and shape internal processes from scratch.
By 2020, that discipline began to pay off. Arches raised $450K in funding, enabling the team to invest in delivery quality, early hires, and operational stability. Growth at this stage wasn’t about moving fast. It was about getting it right.
Arches Company History: From Startup To Scale (2021)
Headcount grew significantly, with teams now operating across four offices. More importantly, Arches proved it could collaborate across borders while maintaining speed and quality: a critical milestone for any global expert network.
This was the year Arches shifted from a promising startup to a scalable platform.
Our expansion journey reaches a turning point in 2021. The foundation built across Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam was ready to scale.
Arches opened its Shanghai office, raised a $1.6M Series A, and for the first time, operated across four markets simultaneously. Our headcounts also expanded fast to support operations.
More importantly, Arches proved it could collaborate across borders while maintaining speed and quality: a critical milestone for any global expert network.
This was also the year Arches shifted from a promising startup to a scalable platform.. They are signals of what happens when execution meets trust.
Arches Company History: Expanding What We Offer (2022-2023)
Arches’ global growth has never always been just about geography. It is also about evolving how we serve clients and experts.
In 2023, Arches launched the Expert Knowledge Bank, expanding its ability to deliver insight quickly and reliably at scale. The business saw strong year-on-year sales growth, while the team continued to expand across five global offices.
The focus shifted from “Can we deliver?” to “How do we deliver better, faster, and more sustainably?”
Arches Company History: Building For The Long Term (2024)
By 2024, Arches was being trusted to build for the long term.
The launch of Prime Talent Partner expanded Arches’ service offering, while a $3M Series B round supported deeper investment in people, leadership, and systems. Headcount grew rapidly as the company strengthened internal structures to support scale.
This phase marked a shift toward durability: building teams and processes designed to last, not just expand.
Arches Company History: A Multinational Network Takes Shape (2025)
2025 has been Arches’ most ambitious year yet. Our branches expanded into Seoul, Bogota and Hong Kong. Arches now operates through 9 legal entities globally, with a team of around 250+ employees.
At the center of our expansion plan is Bogota. As Arches’ hub for the Americas, the Bogota office supports regional expansion and anchors the company’s broader vision toward a 2028 IPO.
To date, Arches has raised $6M from investors, including KUSABI, VISIONAL Corporation, SMBC Venture Capital, and Grove Advisors Ventures. These funds continue to fuel expert recruitment, service innovation, and true 24/7 delivery.
What The Numbers Don’t Show in the Arches Company History Story
Some joined as fresh grads and now lead teams. Others joined when we had one office and now work across multiple countries. That is possible because when Arches grows, its people grow with it.
What began in 2019 with a team of around 15 people has expanded into a global organization of nearly 250 employees today.
Arches’ achievements aren’t just milestones alone. They are signals of what happens when execution meets trust.
